CH Whiskey Creek's Greenbrier RE, NA, CGC

It is official!
Brier's OFA hip score came back and she is an
EXCELLENT!!!
She also has OFA normal elbows and shoulders!
She has a "clear" CERF which qualifies her as an
AKC CHIC designated dog!
Look for the official results posting on the OFA site soon!

Brier is a two year old, 65 pound, 22 inches (AKC jump height card), brown female.

Brier and I have had a lot of fun training for showing, rally, tracking, and agility. For those that say a dog can not show in conformation and train in other sports or activities...take a look at Brier's accomplishments at the bottom of this page. She is exactly what a good Chessie should be like...versatile! We have big hopes and plans for Brier. She just turned two years old in June 2008. There is a bright future for Brier and me!

Brier Brags

Unfortunately for Brier she gets over looked while her "niece and nephews" go out and earn their AKC show Championships so she is not being shown as much as she use to.  Brier is waiting for the day when the puppies finish their titles and then she gets to come back out and perform!

July 2008 Brier and I headed out with our dear friend Dina and her three Havanese from Performance Havanse based in Baton Rouge, LA and went to the four day trial in Concord, NC- home of the AKC National Invitational Agility Competition.  WOW!  The artificial turf was FABULOUS and I plan to be back there in November to compete!  Anyway, Brier came home from that show with two legs in her Novice Jumpers and Weaves class!  Two down...one to go!

Brier and I competed in a dock jumping contest the last weekend of July.  On her first competition jump Brier splashed her way to a 18.5 foot jump!  She ended up with a personal best of 19 feet 5 inches!
She has found yet another activity that she just LOVES to participate in!  So many activities, so little time!

June 2008 Brier and I had a fun weekend up at the Western North Carolina Ag Center where we competed in the Asheville Obedience Club Agility Trial.  Brier has needed only one leg to earn her Novice Standard Agility title for a while.  She has really not been out competing very often (we have only been out one other weekend before this) so I was really excited that we got this last leg this weekend!  Now we will keep trying for the elusive Novice Jumpers with Weaves title!

March 2008 Almost a year after her last AKC conformation show, I entered Brier in an UKC conformation show where she earned her UKC Championship title.  She also earned her first of three legs towards her UKC U-CD title.

November 2007 Brier earned a second place and her second "Q" in her Novice Standard agility. Brier earned a new name at this trial..."The Social Butterfly." Needless to say, Brier is loving competing in agility!

October 2007 Brier got a third place ribbon and her first "Q" in Novice Standard in agility. This was my very first experience in agility and it was SO much fun! I think I am addicted! I enjoy doing rally, but agility is MUCH faster paced and Brier seems to shine while in the ring...now only if I can just keep up with her!

August 2007 Earned her last leg and a third place (score of 97) for her last and final leg for her Rally Excellent title!

June 2007 Earned two first place ribbons (scores of 97 and 98) towards her Rally Excellent title!

May 2007 Earned her last and final point needed to complete her CHAMPION title.

April 2007 Took Best of Breed all three days at the Montgomery shows from the Puppy 9-12 month class.

March 2007 Earned her last leg for her Rally Advanced title. She earned a third place for one of the legs during this months competition. Brier was 8 months old when she earned this title.

February 2007 Earned her two needed majors towards her Championship title. Earned all three legs for her Rally Novice title. Her first day of competing in Rally she earned a score of 99/100 beating out 23 other competitors for the second place win! Earned one leg towards her Rally Advanced title. She placed first out of a class of 9 with a score of 99/100. Brier was 7 months old.

January 2007 Entered her first show where she took the point and went Best of Winners out of the Puppy 6-9 month class.

October 2006 Took "Best in Show Puppy" at the Hendersonville B Match. Earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate at FOUR months of age!
