AKC DNA Profiled
Willow is a dark brown, year old girl out of the first breeding I ever did with Walker.
She is about 70 pounds and 23 inches tall.
Willow lives with and is loved by my dear friend Kelly and her husband Jeff and their three children.
Thank you Kelly for taking such good care of my girl and maintaining her on a raw meat diet!
Willow is a VERY versatile girl. She is willing and never holds a grudge. I find her pretty amazing in how well she handles the unusual circumstances in how randomly she gets trained by myself. I noticed that she picks things up quickly and retains it. I recently was "doodling" with her and she did the skills so easily that I, on a whim, entered her in a Rally Obedience trial. With three lessons of Rally under our belt, she went into the Rally ring and earned a perfect score of 100 and a third place being beaten out only by time!
WAY TO GO WILLY!!!
Willow just came back from the winter Concord, NC cluster where she earned her Rally Novice title with respectable scores of 96 (and thrid place, being beaten out only by time again!) and a 90 (would have been a 100 had her mom read the sign correctly!).
Now on to her Advanced title!
Willow is being shown lightly in Conformation and currently has two Best of Breed wins.
She is handled by Kathy in the Bred By Exhibitor class.
After her nice showing in Rally you can be sure we will be pursuing finishing our Rally Advanced title and her Excellent title then on to traditional Obedience.
Willow is also training for agility. Look for her to enter her first trial sometime in the Fall of 2009!
Willow also has a VERY strong retrieving desire.
Jeff hopes to get her out to do some upland and duck hunting this year.
Willow is a prime example of what Whiskey Creek Chesapeakes goal is in breeding:
Smart, conformationally correct, and of course-her temperament is EXCELLENT!
Check back as pictures of Willow will be added soon.
